About
I'm Reese Terveen and I am the foundress of this business for good. I am excited to launch this business, where I will be selling hand painted portraits and donating all of my profits to Camp Not-A-Wheeze, which is a camp for children with asthma and severe allergies. This year, I intend to raise money for their art supplies and help assist with the art curriculum.
My entire life, I have dealt with both severe food allergies and asthma. When I was only 7 months old, I received my first shot of epinephrine after a severe allergic reaction to milk formula. I obviously don't remember this, but there are many other things I do remember: a feeling of isolation and embarrassment, being scared to eat, and having troubles running and doing things I love. Despite these setbacks, I was able to find great joy in art. Over the years, I have sincerely enjoyed finding my art style and growing my artistic abilities and creativity.
Now, at the age of fifteen, I aspire to help children like me and improve opportunities to be exposed to the wonderful art world. Art has been a gateway for me to truly find myself and I want to help other children like me have that same access. Any purchase truly makes a difference because I am trying to create an art curriculum for the campers! Thank you all for your support.❤️
